I went on a little bit of a fabric shopping spree this past couple months! I got some great deals and you gotta love that for all that that fabric in these pictures, I could maybe buy one Lilly dress! Yay for making my own clothes! With all this new fabric, it is time to do some serious planning! This is one of my favorite parts of the process of sewing! Can y'all tell that I like prints??? :) I was sitting in the middle of my floor and I thought to myself, "I should really take a picture of this for the blog!"
Goodnight girls! I have got to get back to planning and tune into my NJ housewives! Gotta get my weekly dose of CRAZY! My fave is Teresa! I am so worried for her with all this situation about her finances! I just love her on the show! Who is your favorite?
I love all your fabric! I am so proud of you and how well you are doing with your sewing. The dress with the limes and lemons on it was so cute!!!! Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteI am a fabric freak too, but I see quilts where you see outfits. (I'm unable to sew things that actually need to fit a form more intricate than a bed. ;o) Enjoy your housewives. I just haven't got hooked and need no more addictions. I'm trying to swear off.
ReplyDeleteI am really getting a kick out of seeing all the lovely things you have made so far! These fabrics are to-die-for, I really love the white with blue swirls.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the dress in your previous post is really pretty! You did a great job. Your blog is definitely an inspiration for me to get my sewing projects in gear (I'm still so intimidated by the pattern-to-fabric-to cutting process!). :-)

I love the patterns on all the fabric. Very cute! I am very envious of your sewing capabilities. I've had a sewing machine for over a year now and still haven't taken it out of the box. I am a little intimidated by it since I have absolutely NO IDEA where to even start!
ReplyDeleteWow girl!! Great choices! So excited to see more projects completed.
ReplyDeleteI love the dress you made in the previous post and love all your new fabric. I'm so jealous! I wish I could sew! Miss Janice is also addicted to the NJ housewives and I also like Teresa.
ReplyDeleteLook at all that fabric- good luck with all your sewing projects!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that fabric!!! You have inspired me to take a sewing class at my church in the fall. My sewing machine has been sitting in my closet for too long so it's time to get it out and start learning how to use it. I can't wait to see what you make!
ReplyDeleteSo I know we have talked about how I want to learn to sew before (or at least I think we have). But, I am getting a sewing machine today, my Mom's best friend has one that has never been taken out of the box, and she is giving it to me! I don't even know where to begin, but I can't wait to be able to make my own clothes!!! If you have ANY tips, I would love to hear them. If you ever have some free time and don't mind emailing me some advice for starting out, that would be wonderful. My email address is sassyinthesouth1@gmail.com
