Etsy

I am contemplating creating an Etsy store. Actually, it's more like I have decided that I am. I am little scared by my new venture, but it seems like Etsy is pretty low risk and it will be a lot of fun. I am going to sell my handmade jewelry. I am always wanting to make jewelry, but I only need so much and my friends only want so much. Not to mention, it isn't a cheap hobby. I mean it's cheaper than going out and buying jewelry, but it does cost money to do and when I don't wear the stuff it makes me not want to go out to buy more supplies. I really want to have the freedom to go out and buy things that I want to make and not have the voice in my head saying, "Why are you buying more Swarovski crystals, you don't need another necklace." Therefore, it will be lots of fun to create an Etsy store to help further my hobby and get my money back for the supplies I have bought. I am going to stick to jewelry for now since it is really my favorite hobby, but hopefully one day I can add some other things that I like to make. I haven't set up my account yet, but this weekend I am planning to play around with it and list some things that I have made but don't wear. Once I get a name secured, I will add a link to my blog so that y'all can peruse my jewelry and maybe you will get lucky and see something you want! I am going to make a large order for jewelry supplies tonight, so I am excited to make my new items and get them listed too! Wish me luck! Here are some photos of my jewelry I have made in the past.

Yay for you! You should absolutely do it, no doubt about it. I think if I had any talent for creating things, I would love to as well! Good luck.

Go for it! I'm excited to see. Etsy is so user friendly. If you have any questions about it, I have a store on there (Grayson Saige), so look me up and ask anything!

I have thought about making things to sell on Etsy too. I have just been so busy, that I have not been able to get things made up. I have always loved doing crafts and making things. You have beautiful jewelry, so you should do just fine with your Etsy store. I loved the starfish necklace that you posted about a long time ago. The other pieces are real pretty too. Best of luck on this venture!
Love & blessings from NC!
