Another Prayer Request

I know I ask all of y'all to pray a lot, but here is another one for my godson. My best friend Melissa gave birth a few weeks ago to her son Preston at 36 weeks. Technically he is a preemie, but he seemed to be doing fine other than the normal baby stuff like jaundice. Today, Melissa got a call from her pediatrician to let her know that Preston's bloodwork shows that he has a mutated gene and he quite possibly has Cystic Fibrosis. If y'all know anything about the disease, you will know it is just awful. There is no cure, the treatments are expensive, and the quality and length of life is not good. Tuesday, Melissa and Chris are leaving to take Preston to Atlanta to one of the top hospitals in the state. Wednesday, he is going to have a sweat test to test for the disease. The power of prayer is amazing and I am asking every single one of y'all to pray for Melissa, Chris, and baby Preston. Thank y'all so much!

  3. Oh my! I will definitely pray for him!! I remember when you posted about his birth. I hope all goes well!

Just wanted you to know that I do think the 100 I made at the flea market was great, however, when we lived in NJ, we did two garage sales, two years in a row and we made at one, 1,000 and the other was even more!!! People in NJ love garage sales!!

I haven't even thought about what to do with the extra money, maybe buy the Colonel a nice Father's Day gift! Enjoy your week!!!
