Prom Dress Shopping
Woo Hoo, it is finally Friday!!!! What are my BFFs doing this weekend? Does anyone have BIG plans? I am going to Statesboro to a local formalwear shop with Thomas' sister and mother to pick out her Prom dress. Going to the prom is so special and fun...how many occasions do you have to dress to the nines, have everyone to take your picture, ride in a limo, eat a fancy dinner, dance your heart out, and then spend the weekend at a beach house (Savannah tradition)? I went to the 4 times myself. Thomas is older than I am and I went to his Junior and Senior and then he went to my Junior and Senior. I have had my fair share of proms, but I would love to go to just one more! I love formal wear so much, and we are going to store that I bought all of my prom and pageant gowns at. It is going to be so much fun helping her pick out a dress! Here are some pictures of my prom and pageant dresses throughout the years.

I love the blue one!!! It's so "sourthern belle" If you want to know something sad, I have never been to a prom, not in high school or any other formal in college!!! Hope you don't fall off your chair while reading that. My parents wouldn't let me go to my prom in high school, didn't even want to go. My high school was just so rough and all the kids were into drinking and other things. And then in college, no one ever asked me to the spring formals. I so badly wanted to go, but was not so blessed!! But that's okay, I married my own Prince Charming and he treats me like a Cinderella!!! Enjoyed all your pictures!!

ReplyDeleteDo you still compete in pageants at all? I used to compete in them also, but haven't recently. After my wedding, I plan to compete in Mrs. Michigan. You dresses are beautiful!

I like existing styles very much in a few days I’m going to have some of them in my rack. Where previously I used to get them form Faviana prom dress collection even they have huge styles now.
